On 18th June 2015, UV Service company, a new partner of SOMA in Russia, organized a one-day seminar in Moscow for wide web converters.
The seminar titled Optimal Solutions for Packaging Production was attended by over 40 participants representing the vast geography of Russia and Belarus.
Several largest European manufacturers spoke at the seminar on the latest developments in the industry and their newest products.
Keynote speakers included Paul Smith, director of Cheshire Anilox Technology, a U.K. manufacturer of anilox rolls exclusively represented in Russia by UV Service, and Krister Svensson of AB Kelva, a Swedish company producing contact and non-contact web cleaners and represented by UV Service in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
Simco-Ion, the world's largest manufacturer of static control systems with UV Service as their sole agent in Russia, was presented by Freek Adolfsen who spoke about advantages of using their products in order to receive maximum performance.
Seminar attendees listened to Elena Plakhotnik from Vetaphone A/S, a leading manufacturer of Corona and Plasma systems, and Rostislav Zorikov's report about pumps made by Yamada Corporation which has an exclusive agreement with UV Service to represent them in Russia.
Pavla Kusa, commercial director of SOMA Engineering, gave a remarkable presentation about SomaFlex Optima - a unique new flexographic printing press for short runs.
