Overview

The Soma Slitter Rewinder Family is divided into 4 series: Venus II, Saturn, Pluto and Pluto II. This modular conception provides almost complete versatility of Soma Slitter machines. Easy future machine upgrades are possible.

	Venus II Series	represents a precise solid machine, designed to slit very thin plastic material
	Saturn Series	provides a user friendly machine interface with a good price/quality ratio
	Pluto Series	with an integrated rewinder unit, is the smallest member of the Soma slitter rewinder family
	Pluto II Series	upgraded Pluto Series, which contains features like colour Touch Screen control panel, laser core guiding, shaftless unwinding and cork rubbered rollers

New model Venus II

VENUS II - the latest addition to Soma’s Planet range of Slitter Rewinders, is a robust, high performance servo driven machine for wide web printers and converters designed for slitting a wide range of films and foils at high speed. Features include automatic knives positioning, automatic laser core guiding, intuitive touch screen controls and new automatic web holding system that provides ease of operation for splicing.
